| FAQs The following are questions that parents often ask when they are considering enrolling their children in our early childhood program.
A: TEDS was founded as a significant outreach program of Trinity Episcopal Church. TEDS receive both in-kind and other support by agreement with Trinity. However, the TEDS is a separate 501(c)3 and is recognized as a non-profit by the IRS. The school's staffing, budget and finances are separate from those of Trinity. The school is overseen by a board of directors, composed of membership representing Trinity parish, school parents and members of the community.
A: Yes, TEDS is licensed by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) and follows its strict requirements for operations, which include regulations regarding compliance, school policies and procedures, recordkeeping, employee requirements, supervision of children, parent-staff communication, physical facilities, equipment, care of children, rest time, behavior and guidance, health, food and nutrition, transportation, sanitation, fire safety, and much more.
