Faculty Selection
The dedicated and enthusiastic members of the Trinity Episcopal Day School faculty and staff have substantial training and experience in early childhood education and development. Many of our faculty members have bachelor's or associate's degrees, while others hold certification in child development (CDA). Each teacher or substitute is selected after careful review that includes a background check.
About our Faculty
The TEDS staff includes teachers with more than a decade of tenure and who have been recognized by national and regional organizations for their work. In recent years, TEDS teachers have won national scholarships to Dr. Becky Bailey's prestigious "Conscious Discipline" brain-centered learning workshop held in Florida. All TEDS faculty members are required to have a minimum of 20 hours of professional development and continuing education courses each year as well as CPR and first-aid certification.
